A greater level of security is achieved as un invited people cannot arrive and take a pre-printed tag but must first be on the registration systems guest list. Numbers in the venue can be monitored real-time for health and safety compliance. Unwelcome persons can be flagged and reported should they arrive and try to register.

Post event reporting allows the organiser to have detailed attendance records and this assists greatly in the organiser's post event brief and assessment of the degree of success of the event. One is also able to track the attendance or not of individual guests or groups of guests

Walk-in guests not on the list can be registered, if required, and a name tag can be printed on the day. These guests' information is also captured to form part of the post event report.
